Queen Cells into Mating Nucs

Beekeepers Place Queen Cells into Mating Nucleus Hives at Bruce Bowen’s queen bee mating yard near Mt. Vernon, Washington. Seen are Pat (on left), Lisa (center – she has a mild bee sting allergy, thus the suit), and Clyde. We are using mini-nucleus hives. An empty bar on which the cells were developed can be seen in the center of the pallet.
