A shaker box with funnel and queen excluder cage in place. Bees are shook into the top, caged, then poured from the side door from which can be seen.

    • We borrowed ours from Sue Cobey… I just saw something about them, maybe in the new issue of Bee Culture? They are absolutely wonderful, but remember to have a squirt bottle of diluted syrup (your choice of what) if you’re shaking bees on warm days. It helps to keep them calm and cool.
