2 beekeepers make over-night splits at Bruce Bowen’s bee yard near Mt. Vernon, WA. New “nucs” are being made by taking brood from a parent hive and placing it in a new hive (the nuc), which is placed over a queen excluder to allow nurse bees to move up overnight
